Barge Cottages have been created from a former 19th century stable block which was home to the water men and their horses, in a bygone age when the River Nar was an important trade route. The cottage interiors are modern in style whilst still maintaining a 'cottage' feel, with exposed beams and sloping ceilings in the upstairs rooms.
